Homeopathic remedies are safe and effective for healing your pets just as they are for us. Almost any remedy that you would use on yourself can be used on your pet. Doses and potencies should be lower. Where we would use 12x or 30x on a human, 3x to 6x should be used on a small animal. Because of potential difficulty in administering remedies (ie. unwilling, uncooperative patients) do not be too concerned with the contamination of the remedy. The most important thing is that the remedy is given consistently.
Herbal remedies are also very effective. An outstanding example of such a remedy is the Bach Rescue remedy. It will treat human and animal alike for shock and trauma. It can calm and soothe very quickly.
